Formed in 1975 as a 9 hole course and introduced as an additional facility for the holiday home owners, Little Lakes Golf Club has evolved to become one of the most breathtaking courses in the Midlands. A popular misconception with a course built around a holiday park would be to expect a pitch and putt, fun style course, forget those notions as substantial investment and remodelling have created what is today one of the most challenging, stunningly beautiful golf courses in the county.

The course built around the park, on the edge of the dramatic Wyre forest (spectacular in the Autumn), is a traditional parkland course with a unique, quirky feel for encouraging strategic positional shots with a feel more accustomed with links golf. The new holes added in 2000 to extend from a 9 to 18- hole layout were built to USGA specifications, various water features have been introduced to enhance the course, to further enforce the title of Little Lakes and crucially to provide water for our automatic irrigation system.

Opening to much acclaim it has rapidly established itself as a popular venue for PGA, County Union, Corporate and Society events. However the main focus of the business will always be on membership and creating links with the Holiday Park, our innovative outlook to joining a golf club has been highly praised, categories now centre on set price points taking in to consideration members time constraints.

We are proud of the outstanding service we offer to the local golf community particularly the foundation of our applauded New 2 Golf coaching programme, this can fast track the beginner on to the course within 5 weeks. Our Professionals are all PGA qualified and CRB checked. Our professionals also offer a highly developed teaching service incorporating Gasp video software allowing in-depth analysis of the golf swing, a dedicated practice area and short game academy are welcome additions to our facilities.
