Electric Bikes in the Wyre Forest - Jun 21, 2017
National Bike Week, which has just finished, is an annual opportunity to promote cycling, and show how cycling can easily be part of everyday life by encouraging ‘everyday cycling for everyone’. The week aims to get people to give cycling a go all over the UK, whether this be for fun, as a means of getting around to work or school, the local shops or just to visit friends. Here at Little Lakes, we particularly like to support those Park Members who are keen to get out and about in our wonderful countryside.
Our friends at Bewdley Outdoors, located at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, help cyclists do this all year round. They are particulary proud of their new Electric Bikes.
An electric mountain bike is an accessible and extremely fun means of travel & leisure for people of all ages. They are equipped with quality suspension and off road type tyres for a smoother, more comfortable ride over off road tracks and paths. Grassy, muddy or gravel trails are rolled over with ease. Compared to the hard work of cycling over grass on a conventional MTB, an electric mountain bike will roll over the terrain with ease and help you keep your speed up with little effort. You can power up climbs to enjoy downhill slopes feeling fresh.
Anyone can have a lot of fun with low effort – you don’t have to be an experienced cyclist or mountain biker. This is helped by wide handlebars that allow for good control and improved suspension to soften out even the most challenging terrain.
With these new generation machines, the whole family can explore the Wyre Forest and all our surrounding beautiful countryside. Don't forget, Little Lakes Members receive a 10% discount on all bike hire and must show their Lakes Membership Card
