COVID-19 Update

17 March 2020

Firstly, and most importantly,  the Park is NOT planning to close, and will remain open. However, we are making a few changes to some of our facilities, mainly in the Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse will remain open, both the kitchen and the bars, but for the foreseeable future, all entertainment events, Bingo sessions, etc., will be cancelled. We are sorry for the short notice, but we think it is also prudent to cancel the Mother’s Day lunch this Sunday.

We will keep with our restricted winter opening times in the Clubhouse for the next few weeks. We are also planning to put a take-away menu together, so that Park Members will be able to collect meals at the Servery for eating in their units.

In the Park Office, we are asking everyone who comes in to use the hand sanitiser by the door. In general, as you will have seen from our notices about the current situation, we are encouraging Park Members to purchase gas bottles and electricity cards over the phone where possible, and we will arrange delivery etc. To avoid the traditional last minute crowded scrum in the Park Office, it would be especially helpful for everyone if Park Members could pay their site fees via their bank if possible this year.

Finally, the most important message for all Park Members, is to stay safe. Remember, please avoid the Clubhouse, the Park Office, and indeed any of the Park facilities if you, or anyone you have come in contact with, are demonstrating any symptoms of the Coronavirus. The current advice is to self-isolate as a family for 14 days.

Best wishes from all on the Park.
